Edward Cullen

So every good fanfiction starts with the obsession with Edward Cullen.

Hmm....

And Spy Games is no different. My Edward is a little OOC because I didn't think the angsty, emo boy from Breaking Dawn was really that hot.

Moving on, Edward Cullen is the newly named CEO of Cullen Inc. His company is the only advanced technology agency predicted to outsell Dyco Tech within ten years.

On his first day of running the company, he notices Ms. Swan in the window, casually spying on him with her binoculars. Not only does this intrigue Edward, it interests him.

I plan to delve more into his side of things in the counterpart to Spy Games which I plan to title The Spy.

Edward describes his childhood and upbringing to Bella in chapter 6, saying:

"I was raised in a relatively small house, compared to what we could have afforded. I have a brother, Emmett; he's a few years younger than me. I went to college, moved on to grad school, and then went to work for my dad. It wasn't much of a choice, it was always what they assumed I would do. I go to work, I come home, and I go to bed. Sometimes, I work out and other times I paint."

Later, in chapter 7, Edward says that his parents despise each other in private, yet appear to be happy in public. He sort of envies the fact that Bella's father left when things got shitty, instead of forcing himself to be unhappy, the way Carlisle does.

Edward has emerged as a very mysterious character in Spy Games. He is a self proclaimed insomniac and says that "no one can fix the reason why he doesn't sleep." Bella notes that he seems like he's hiding something, or has skeletons in his closet that go bump in the night.

She's not far from the truth.
